Life
Garden
The slowest feedback loop I work in. A mistake in a training block shows up in six weeks; a mistake in the garden shows up next season. It is a useful corrective to a job where everything is expected immediately.
Approach
Soil first, then patience
Most garden problems are soil problems wearing a costume. Feed the soil, water deeply and less often so roots go down instead of sideways, and resist the urge to intervene every time a leaf looks wrong.
Planting goes in on a plan rather than on impulse at the garden center, and what worked and what failed gets written down at the end of a season - because by the following spring nobody remembers accurately.

Beds, crops and planting dates will go here. The card grid used on the other pages fits this well - one card per bed.

Shoot the same beds from the same spot each season - the comparison is the whole point.
